It seems that Yvonne van Hertum is on the loose again. Those who are aware of the trail of destruction she left behind need no further explanation. A year ago I published a piece on my blog on how she stole part of my family’s history for her fraudulent auto biography, in which she maintained she was jewish, and also claimed her mother had survived Sobibor. She filled the pages of this “book” with stories of people she had met on the jewish forum site joods.nl, pretending she was jewish. In 2006, she surfaced as the figurehead of SKS (stop sex with children). A number of people who were abused themselves drifted towards her initiative, but soon found out that YVH merely uses the stories and the lives of others in her unending quest for airtime. And she succeeded: a number of interviews on national television (Pauw & Witteman) and numerous appearances on radio and in the press. The most amusing but also bewildering episode in this saga was the occasion when she organized a demonstration against child abuse, with the aid of a number of prominent “stormfront.nl” neo nazis.
When I last wrote an entry about her, she tried to get my weblog shut down. Clearly, this woman’s got a screw loose. And now she’s back to entertain us all….
