VKTV has a short report on “Het Wakend Oog” on Terschelling. It’s my favorite place to hang out when I’m on the island, even though it’s in West and we’re usually in Midsland. It’s the ideal spot to gather courage before heading home along the Longway. Interesting facts too in this mini documentary: the masonic roots of het Oog for instance. Obvious if you know what to look for. It’s true, for many people the Wakend Oog is synonymous with Terschelling, with arriving there.
